Well here it is... The file you'v all been drooling and dreaming over...

    ClockworkMod viper (Proclaim/Illusion).
You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

    To Install:
    1. Download the file and place it in an esay-to-find location on your computer

    2. Open Odin3 v1.85 (the one you used for root) and select the arearom-cwm-6028.tar

    3. Boot your Proclaim or Illusion into Download Mode and plug it into your computer.

    4. Click start in odin and let it run. Once Odin reboots your device, *REMOVE THE BATTERY.

    5. Hold the middle of the volume rocker, put the battery back in and turn the device on.

    6. Enjoy the only public CWM for the Proclaim/Illusion :).

    Thanks:
foremost, utkanos for helping me out with debugging

Darkman, urworstknight, heydave and everyone else for their help in testing (though the other was an earlier version)

The VIPs for keeping the secret ;)

And finally DroidHost, for hosting, testing and everything else

    This is a known bug...

    To correct:
Download the stock recovery that's floating around here
    Flash that
    Reboot the phone
    reinstall CWM

Does this only overwrite the boot mode? Or the whole rom? Is it stable and will I lose any of my apps or personal info by using this? This is my only phone.

One issue I did find is that the nag fix must be run, if you were to run the OTA update to remove the nag for a while, it will send you into a recovery boot loop.  I've reinstalled the stock recovery, run the nag fix and reinstalled CWM and it's working fine.  Will update if I find any other issues.

Rick_Galaxy_Proclaim: Your data will be fine.  It only pushes a recovery, no other data is touched.  Just read my above post to make sure you don't run into the same problem.

What slot in Odin does this file go into?  Bootloader? PDA?

Do I leave it in the .tar, or extract it first?

Also what options if any need to be checked in Odin?

And do I need to use a .pit file?

    Wipe Dalvik Cache?

Would be nice if someone could write a simple walkthrough for the less experienced people, with slightly more detail than the original post.

    Thanks,
    RiCK

I have a fully stock LI02 Nandroid here i will be uploading in a day or so, Right now my priority is getting AreaRom Proclaim v1.1 thru beta testing and getting it released to the VIP Members then in 2 weeks the Rom will be released to General Public.
    [/quote]

I somehow messed up my 3G and it won't cut on. I have tried a restore. I thought maybe if I restored through CWM that might fix some things, but it did not. Do you think if I restored from the nandroid backup it would fix my issues?

I used this root method You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login***-all-things-root-***-150/how-to-install-custom-kernel/, not sure if thats shabby penguins. I installed the freedom app and that screwed up google services because of the time zone so I thought I would restore, not the answer, I got the google services glitch fixed, but when I restored I did not have 3G, everything else works, but also I have a glitch where superuser will not remember my choice when an app asks for root permission so it asks me every time. I'm hoping if I restore from someone elses backup it will fix my glitches.
