ONE CLICK ROOT, SUPPERUSER, AND CWM
 For LG Optimus Logic
 By: DroidHost

PLEASE DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR DEVICE UNTIL YOU SEE THE CONGRATULATIONS SCREEN!

[hide]ONE CLICK[/hide]

Download to your computer & unzip it. Now hook up your phone by USB to your computer. On your phone start at the home screen, touch menu, Settings, Applications, mark Unknown Sources, & slide all the way down to Development. Now mark all three boxes. Open the One Click folder & double click OneClick-Root-CWM.bat file. Just follow the instrutions on the screen & at the end you have root. Your recovery & Superuser is already installed.

By downloading the link above you agree to everything below even tho you didn't bother to read it. This has been tested & confirmed to work. I/we are not reasonable if you break your phone.

If you use it please post results below.

For some reason the phone won't go into recovery with it hooked up to USB. Use the buttons & hold until fully into recovery"Volume Down, Home, & Power".

Once in recovery go to <Backup & Restore> then <Backup>. After it is finished you now have a image of your phone as it is today. I suggest you move a copy to your computer incase your SD ever fails.

Thanks to Jcase, kingmt01, koush, and anyone I might have forgot.

   To Do this One Click

PLEASE ENABLE USB DEBUGGING ON YOUR DEVICE

Plug Device Directly to Computer. Not a USB HUB
Install the Device Drivers for your Device (This may require a reboot of your computer for proper function)

Unzip this Package to Your Desktop
and Double Click the OneClick-Root-CWM.bat file.

Follow On Screen Prompts and Wait for it to Finish
your Device will REBOOT a few times during this process

PLEASE DO NOT UNPLUG YOUR DEVICE UNTIL YOU SEE THE CONGRATULATIONS SCREEN!

Just wanted to say thanks for this great app! I've tried a few others that were talked very highly of, but had no luck with them. As  a newbie when it comes to rooting a cell phone, I really didn't want to attempt using a command line program right away (although I do think I'll check into it as it looks pretty interesting). I downloaded and followed your instructions above and sailed right through it! Now maybe I can have better control over the miniscule amount of system memory on this phone. Thanks again!  :D

:o This thing failed to root my phone so far as I could tell, but it did allow me to install a custom rom that I found via the "cloud". I have a custom copy of this ISO which I would gladly post to a public FTP if this forum offers such a device. I will post full specs in a separate thread if someone would be so kind as to tell me if this forum offers say 500mb of ftp storage. I am in love with my lgl35g and its all because of this pre-rooted clockwork backup image.

It installs CWM. If you mean CM9 then it doesn't change your ROM other then root.

We have a IRC channel. Why didn't you all for help? Trying to manually root & pushing the wrong thing such as the su folder instead of the su file would have stopped out from working. It is build to do it right from the start not fix something messed up. Although if you have tired & been unsuccessful this will probably still work for you.

Installing the rooted nandroid is a good work around tho.

I've tried One Click Root for my LGL35G and so far this is as far as I've got. Any suggestions? USB Debugging is turned on. I followed the steps as instructed and it's still showing the same thing after 10 minutes. I've tried everything I can think of to root this phone.

That indicates that adb is not talking to your device. This could mean a few things:
- The USB port and adb don't play nice (try a different port)
- You're using a hub, or other interference causing device
- The driver you are running isn't working as it should
- You're on Windows 8 (in which case it'd be drivers again)

More then likely you need to install drivers. I have a file on this site.

:D  Yes, this worked like cake.  The only way to screw it up is to have multiple one-click zip files on your desktop and unzip the wrong one :o
1. I downloaded and installed the usb drivers from LG, changed the settings on my phone (as indicated) and plugged the phone into my laptop usb port.
2. Downloaded the super one click zip file to my desktop (at the top of this page).
3. Unzipped the file to my desktop using winrar (most modern operating systems have a built-in unzip function but I like winrar; winzip, pkzip, ect. will work also)
4. I opened the newly unzipped file folder from my desktop
5. I clicked the .bat autoexecution file.
Bingo bango reboot bamo reboot (again) and you have root!
Checked the phone for apps and see a super user pirate staring one-eyed back at me.
Went to the apps store (google play) and downloaded "WiFi tether for root" and am presently posting this with my laptop via Net10 3G data LG Optimus Logic L35G using At&t's towers.
Mission accomplished.

Thanks so much for this forum. I tried Super One Click and Z4 with no luck.
Found your post, and installed drivers needed and followed your directions.
Worked beautifully! Thanks again.
