I know this is a dead thread, buuuuuuuuuuuuut...Hi, I'm new to rooting, but felt comfortable enough to attempt the Odin v3 method with CWM (ran smooth as glass, btw), however, I ran into a bit of a problem.  I can't find the "/clockworkmod/" folder (I've checked the sd card and everything, but there's nothing there), nor can I figure out how to make a backup once I've rebooted...All the guides say to "scroll down to backup/recovery", however, I can find no such option in recovery mode once I've rebooted out of download mode (THAT took me a while to figure out, too...)  But, I've decided that I want to return to stock afterall, but, if I can't find the cwm folder, how can I go about doing this?  I'm using Odin 3.07 with CWM 6028 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.  Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

if you boot to recovery and it says viper at the top then every thing is there...if it dosnt say viper then your still using stock recovery............

What about the little /!\ that appears beneath the Samsung logo at boot?

Edit:  Nevermind lol  Found a thread to deal with the triangle.

Unzip to your desk top the copy folder to your sdcard under clockworkmode/backup

    place your phone in recovery

scroll to backup/restore/restore/scroll to folder that says 2013-06-13 and restore that one....let it finish and reboot your phone.     you are now back to stock  No root

Thanks to kingmt01 for the know how,Motorhead for the recovery,DH for well being DH,Spawn for being Spawn, and Chr|s for the files to make this work
I have done all of this several times, however when I get into recovery mode, I am unable to mount sd card or any storage and can not restore files.
    E:Can't mount /sdcard
    E:Cn't mount sdcard
I am rooted and want to remove root, start over and add custom rom.

if you have cwm installed just flash a rom no need to worry about removing root it wont hurt it.......

you dont need to mount any thing.....you do need to make sure your in cwm not stock recovery...make a back up of what you have already first

place the rom on your sdcard and boot to recovery

    tap install zip from sdcard
then tap choose zip from sdcard
then find the rom and tap on it...install it
then back to wipe data/factory reset
    then reboot

Thanks again everyone for the help.  Mission accomplished.  Here's what I did.
Reinstalled CWM recovery using the ODIN technique found here in the forum.  I had to redo this because I had already flashed the stock recovery.zip when I was trying to do this on my own.
Then I Restored a rooted Rom while in CWM (file named rooted2.zip also from here which has to be extracted to the sdcard first in order to restore it with CWM)
    Boot into android.
I downloaded Triangle Away.apk from xda forum and manually installed it after allowing unknown sources security setting.
Ran Triangle Away to reset counter-still in regular android OS.
When that is finished, boot back into CWM (power + vol up)
Flash Centura_stock.zip then Immediately flash Stock_recovery.zip - don't boot between flashes.
(Again flash, not Restore) Both zip files found here in Area51.
Then I did factory reset, wipe cache and davlik cache.
Boot into stock phone.  Double check that yellow triangle is gone at boot and then go into settings/about phone/device settings and check there too that everything looks OEM.

This method worked a treat. Just finished restoring my old Centura so I could turn it back in to the company. Was a nice little phone for a couple of years. Thanks for posting this.

When we talk with others as we talk to ourselves we mistakenly talk in quips, short cuts and phrases that make all the sense in the world within our heads but are as good as Martian to others and missing the raised eyebrow and/or other gestures that could point out that we have lost the listener(s) at some point or over a in-mind term or other.
It seems this site deals with several different phones. Might I suggest that there be a section for each where newbies and tech alike can go and see the terms, technics… before they decide if that might be something they can tackle before they gather the gear, software and rom to do it with. It would be like a Legend on a Map and just a hotlink away. If that works, there could be a page that lists all of the sites ‘Legend’ pages.
I was following one thread that directed to put it in recovery without any reference as to what that meant or how to nor where to find the explanation. I started doing pages of the site from a google search and that is when I found so many different phones. I’ll bet that the same button presses on boot up have different results for other phones.
As can be seen from the provided truth table I developed from my phone that my phone will not enter recovery, unless I missed something. I found a video on YouTube You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login that purports to display how though does not work on my phone.
All that just to ask if my phone is an odd ball or how can I get my phone into recovery?
I always thought that water was transparent and seas were blue.

    To get into recovery:

    1. Hold volume up & Power and hold both together
    2. When you see the Samsung logo release power only
    3. When you see the recovery screen release volume up

The results from the reply offered for my phone are displayed on the first line of my truth table as Android System Recovery <3e> and the only line with a question mark was at the end of the second from the last line. I do thank you for the link but scanning the link, it does not seem to address the issue of bloatware. Is bloatware for the SCH-S738C answered elsewhere?
Dr. Henry Kissinger was quoted from an interview for the question of what makes a great communicator and his reply was listening.
The your from  the master is actually a contraction in the form of "you're".

The 1st line in your table suggests you actually did get into recovery , but then you go on to say that you cannot get into recovery and ask how.  Are you or are you not having trouble getting into recovery? If so, please describe the events that led you not being able to get into recovery.

You may also try to install a custom recovery outlined in the link I provided.

Btw, on this site we do not criticize each other for typos, misspellings or grammatical errors...

Can I unroot without a micro SD card? Just using a USB cable?

That's how I rooted to begin with, so it seems like there should be a way.

Thanks...just trying to get rid of the yellow ! sign on bootup so I can sell it for  a few bucks.

If you just want to get rid of the yellow triangle, I would suggest "Triangle Away" (see below). I don't believe just unrooting your phone will get rid of the yellow triangle. You need to reset the flash counter.

Triangle Away (By Chainfire)- This allows you to remove the yellow triangle and reset the flash counter so you can restore your phone to stock with no traces of it being modified in case you need to return it.  WARNING: Although several Centura users have reported that this has worked successfully on the Centura, it can still be a dangerous method so read up and do your due diligence.  I have posted some links below to the developer's thread and to some AA51 member's experiences.

if you want to unroot it you can do that if you have superSU app installed. it's located in the apps settings.

Yeah, as I said earlier, unrooting won't get rid of the yellow triangle. You need to reset the flash counter with Triangle Away. It may not be on the developer's supported phones (actually the Centura often isn't b/c not a lot of people work on or use it so it often hasn't been tested) but as you can see by the threads I gave you it has worked on the Centura. But its up to you if you want to use it or not. Read through the threads to get a better idea of people's experiences.

Hey thanks. Actually I just used Kinguser and was able to go back to unRooted.

Still getting the yellow ! triangle though. Weird.

For the triangle issue, I believe you can use triangle away app even though its not in the supported list.

You may want to try to flash the stock kernel via Odin first. As well the stock ROM via twrp/cwm recovery.

*the yellow triangle appears cause either you have a custom kernel, custom ROM or both.
