Backup to flashable zip

    Is it possible  to make a flashable zip from a cwm backup? Thanks in advance.

    Is it possible  to make a flashable zip from a cwm backup? Thanks in advance.

    It sure is. Once you do the backup then put it on your computer. Use 7 zip to extract the system image to a folder named system. I can send you a script for flashing later once I wake up, then you'll take that and put it in the same folder as the system folder you made, but keep it in all of the folder that it's in. Then simply select both folders and right click and go to 7 zip then send to archive. If you want a kernel too then you'll have to add the boot.img and add a line to the script which I'll send as well. Just let me wake up first :-) lol

    ok.. so if ive only rooted.. if i go to the kitchen n do that flashable zip.. what exactly does that do..? is that a new rom? theme? im sorry i prolly sound really stupid.. i am a nurse , mom, and really kinda upper in age..just trying this on my own.. :/ : ) lol .so id appreciate all the help u can advise ! :) thx

    it takes the backup you made in recovery and makes it so you can install it as a zip install instead of restoring a backup.............it dosnt change the theme or any thing else................you can  zip aligian, deodex,it and even add root to it............it make it easier to share with others and to flash................after you have finish it and flash it, if it dosnt flash and comes up with a error it may be because the  updater-script is wrong.............
