Ok, I've installed TB free version, made a full backup went to reboot and it won't get past the yellow triangle screen,
what key combo can i use to bring up TB at startup so i can restore my backup that I made?
this is a galaxy centura s738c, if theres no key combo the app would be utterly useless. I would appreciate feedback Thanks

Titanium Backup definitely does not back up your NAND.  I have been using the Pro version for years.  "What makes it so special" at least to me, is the ability to back up all my apps including system apps (that I often remove), but keep backups in case later I find my phone did need that apk for something. Also it can keep multiple versions backed up. So say YouTube (or some other favorite app) decides to release a bad update, and unknowingly you allow the update, and now the app doesn't work at all or poorly; you can now restore a previous version that did work, with a single click within Titanium Backup.

Ok, I think you thought that backup in Titanium Backup ment backup your rom

    It dose not,

It backs up your apps, and your app data, so you do not have to reinstall them when you flash manualy, you can batch reinstall all of them. I set TB to make a backup of all user installed apps and data twice a week.

With the newer google play it will restore your apps when you flash, BUT NOT YOUR DATA. So if you dont want to log into dropbox, pandora, ect every time you flash it is great.

Now, I recomend you do not backup system apps as if you change roms this could cause a problem when you batch restore apps.

Another reason I love this app is the ability to Freeze applications so they wont work, run, or use up ram, but are still there if another app needs it. Like I freeze Gmail and use k-9 mail instead, and instead of just turning off notifications and letting gmail run and eat up ram and battery. I freeze it so it wont run, but I leave it there incase some other system app is like hey there its not there. crash.

I did this for facebook too, because some other app was like u have to log in using facebook and have it on ur phone. but I dont use facebook on my phone and rairly on pc so I froze it and use the app that needs it there and it works perfect.

That in a nut shell is why it is so great.

More notes: when I restore my navy federal app from Titanium It will not work and I must un-install it or wipe the data and re enter my credentals. very nice and secure. makes me not worry about someone getting ahold of my backup.

    Now to fix your problem.

Flash a rom or restore one of your old nand backups. then make a new nand backup after your all fixed up in CWM and remember that Titanium backup just dose apps. not the system.
