But thank you AR51, ya'll are the best! :D I will miss all of you! :3 I will be deleting this account after i get the I P h o n e. Also it no longer charges correctly. The charger port on the phone is messed up.

Jailbreaking is the IOS equivalent to our rooting. A properly jailbroken Iblown can be broken free from Apple's deathgrip on the system.

Not really sure why you want to pay that much for a worse product? Your either gonna pay $200 for the phone and $80/m with limits or pay $700 for the phone and then risk losing all that when you try to jailbreak it. It wont be like droid, if you mess it up while trying to jailbreak it, there not going to warenty it. Guess I just dont see the logic in switching to a over priced low level product that requires you to pay huge monthly fees.

Can you really use a straighttalk sim on an I phone?

What would be the best Android phone that will work with a straighttalk sim? My lg l55c is just too slow even with the excellent arq rom.

I suggest one of the Higher End AT&T Android Phones something with a dualcore like the Galaxy SII Skyrocket or the Galaxy Note, or if you got alot to spend a Galaxy SIII use the AT&T Simcard with it and you wont have to have it sim unlocked, if your in an Area were TMobile works good and you can get a TMobile Simcard then finding a T-Mobile 4g Phone would be the way to go as with the T-Mobile Straight Talk sim you get to keep your 4G service... unlock AT&T sim.

Motorhead you have it exactly right.

crApple's Jailbreak option is almost exactly like rooting... only difference is instead of Superuser there is Cydia. And you can do a little more with jailbreak. only problem is. it auto-overclocks... no matter what you do after you jailbreak your cryphunk will be extremely warm where the battery is. and after a while the screen begins to burn out due to the excessive heat. but if you are going to jailbreak a cryphunk, use greenp0ison. easiest to use.

I used to be a crApple fan, but i have seen the light.

One of the (many) things that I hate about the iphone is...

    Visible file system
Try plugging an Android phone into your PC and mounting it as a storage device. You'll have access to all the files and folders, just as you do when you browse through your computer's C drive. So, if you want to copy a raft of MP3s or PowerPoint presentations to your Android handset, you can just drag and drop them. Say you record a memo with Droid Record and want to grab its output files. You can navigate down to its folder and move, copy or share them directly from there. If you run a file browser on the phone itself, you can also dive into the file system from there. So what happens when you plug the iPhone into your PC? You get access the digital camera (DCIM) folder only so all you can do is drag and drop pictures. Yes, you can iTunes to transfer media files back and forth, but you still can't go directly into file system because Apple just doesn't trust you enough to let you see the folders on the iPhone 5 that you bought from them. Whose phone is it anyway?

      Deeper down the rabbit hole!!!!
i wouldn't call iCrap superior hardware, just less options, you get what you get, as opposed to you get what you want, so they tend to be slightly more stable in the grand scheme of the OS (more fragmentation with android due to it's open nature, par for the course) but i have seen iCrap glitch out and fail just the same as Android's or ANY other electronic device, it's just an unfortunate side effect of progress in the tech field...

as far as piracy is concerned, you must be out of your mind if you think jailbreaking has anything less to do with piracy than rooting... there are "alternative market" apps on iCrap just the same, and for that matter you dont need root on android or jailbreak on iCrap to access those things... hacked and cracked apk's and iOS apps (not sure the extension) are freely available on the interwebs without touching a stock device...

but to each their own, i'm a bit of an android fanboy, but i respect technology, i know enough about how things work that nothing is perfect, what's good for one is, well, good for one lol. not everyone has the same needs or desires, i like to tweak and tinker so i stick with what allows me to do so, and while i wouldn't buy iCrap myself due to their extremely closed nature and not liking crApple's business practices in general, i would gladly tweak on one for a friend lol.

as far as iCrap on ST sim, yes, yes you can, when i was looking into ST sim for my step-daughter i read up on it, you can use iCrap the same as any other GSM device save one condition, you need to jailbreak to change the APN... other than that same rules apply, att/tmobile on their proper sims or unlocked from another carrier, i've read verizon iphones are factory unlocked from 4s up and will work with GSM providers, not sure how true that is but you may wanna look into it, might be cheaper to pick up a verizon iphone.

sad to see you go Tater, i've enjoyed reading your posts as of late and found many of them highly entertaining.
