its okay. I mean, its a bit much for a boot animation, but the animation itself is great :) id suggest making it portrait instead of landscape though. not too many people turn their phone on holding it sideways lol

well since the cm7 boot loader is the same, IMHO IT doesn't matter what way the bootloader goes,up,down, left, right, backwards, sideways its just a bootloader, how many people really notice it after a while. I think you did a kick azz job on it,good work, and kept it up.

I guess its all in your artistic taste. Just being able to create one, is another way to personalize your phone. Along with another way to secure your phone in the event it gets stolen. If your lucky enough to have the chance of getting it back, you have a way to identify it.

I have another ready to donate to the cause (Attached). The only thing is it doesn't play all the way through, with AR 2.3. The phone boots so fast, that the whole animation does play. That's a big plus for AAR51, the sign of a good solid Rom.

I'd really like to know as well. I've used ROM Toolbox to load their bootanimations but I haven't a clue how to load a custom one.

If you're rooted, save boot ani to the root of the sdcard.  Boot into recovery, select Install zip from sd card, find the bootanimation.zip and select it. Select Yes Install zip (my words might not be exect but ayone can figure it out). Self explanitory once your in recovery

Oh okay, I do remember that now. I've placed my zip file in the sd card but when I load CWM it won't show up. I've tried moving it to different places and it's nowhere to be found, yet when I turn the phone back on and go into my files, its there!

      I LOVE TO ARGUE
No offense to the creator but 30mb is WAY too large for a bootanimation. You need to take it frame by frame and reduce the bit depth to 8bit. As far as installing a bootanimation, they're usually in /system/media. A bootanimation needs to be 0% compression. Basically you mount /system as rw and then delete the old bootanimation.zip and paste the new one in (if you're going to do it manually).
