    Hi Friends
can someone upload a CWM Backup for Galaxy Appeal?
I have an Appeal and have no use for it now since I lost the boot while trying the recovery image presented in this forum I need to get it back to stock and use the new Cwm image to root it.

well I did flashed the first release, when they first start development for the appeal, also I flashed some other devices stock ROM to the appeal through odin, and that's when I lost everything, for now I can access the recovery but since system and I think kernel also are for different device booting will not be possible till I flash back the stock ROM.

      Deeper down the rabbit hole!!!!
you shouldnt have lost anything from flashing recovery via odin unless you put it in the wrong place, i flashed ace + (gt-s7500) recovery to mine, which is a sister phone to the appeal, well maybe more like a 2nd cousin lol, and on top of that i flashed probably around 20 different recovery.img's that just wouldnt boot past the splash screen while testing out the builds never once did i lose my phone, just no recovery...

i'm currently working on a custom rom build for the appeal and once i can get it to flash (updater-script issues) and test it a bit, it will go live beta release and then i'll have a chance to go through my backups to make sure they are bone stock, nothing personal in them and will post stock backups, both rooted and not rooted.

I just did similar thing when I flashed a zip from a different device. I need an ODIN (as that is the only way I can access the phone right now) flasheable ROM
