I have been having problems with clock sync and just network period. Is not the app.. I tried both roms and still there. But phone shows I have full 3g. I don't get it? Any way there is a app called smart time sync and it uses gps to adjust times.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I just want to make sure...  To really have this ClockSync fix work, you have to root the Centura right?

I am not against rooting my phone, but I wasn't really interested in doing it before, and it kind of stinks to have to root it just to fix a ridiculous problem that should be fixed by the manufacturer.

Yes, but that option doesn't allow the ClockSync app to automatically fix the time right?  I was under the impression that this option simply tells you that the clock is out of sync and you have to manually fix it.

If this app fixes the problem without rooting, then I should be all set.  I had the problem two days ago, and installed ClockSync on my non-rooted phone yesterday.  Of course, the clock has been fine since, but it's only been a day.  ;D

(I just got my phone last weekend, so this ugly problem showed itself quickly for me).

pkarandi,
Correct ... no root means app informs you time is off, but you have to manually approve sync to correct time.
