After installing arc 1.3, I've had my battery life go from approx.  9 hrs to less than 4. Recovery gives one status (34%) at plugin (which is crazy, is it drained or not?) and settings show almost full (90%) at plugin! The graph shows a steep but gradual discharge and a rocket straight up when I connect the charger. Is the battery toast? Is something just running in the background like a hog? Any thoughts or help is appreciated.

Have you tried battery calibration from the play store and read directions on it.

No dice. Still have a kamikaze battery. There were a dozen apps with the same name, though. Maybe I chose a bad one? How many cycles is a factory battery rated for?

Yes the voltcontrol, setcpu ect. Does play on battery cosumptions, but only if you set up user profiles and such.
