This one and You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login both worked for me in textra. Neither work for me with handcent. Really sad about this since Handcent is the only app I have found that lets me make it look the way I want.

It is working fine on my centura, I was wondering though how do i check my apn? I thought I used to have another option under wireless & networks menu but it is no longer there since I have installed the latest rom anyone have a clue as to why this option would be missing to see my apn or possibly tell me how to access it again, perhaps I am not clear on where to find it.

What rom are you using?  There are no typical APN settings in the settings menu. If there is API for it then the APN backup/restore app from play store should be able to access/change them. You can find your APN settings in /system/etc/apns-conf.xml. When I installed textra, it said it could not detect my APN settings.

We have 2 Centuras running Handcent in our house. The APN settings that we use are:

MMSC: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
    Proxy: mms3.tracfone.com
    Port: 80

Using Handcent 6.0.5 and the latest public rom from here all I had to do was to go into Handcent settings > Application Settings > MMS Settings and manually set it to use Verizon Wireless. All good now without having to change APN's.

(Digging through the forums and just came across this)
