I saw this exact SD Card from Walmart for $16.99
thinking about purchasing it for my Galaxy Centura.
I have a question will it make a difference in performance
cuz i know that the Ext SD can't even mount into SYSTEM or install apps to your SD Card?
and If partition will there be a difference at all? What do you guys recommend for the Centura?

It's amazing what you can do with a soldering iron and a hack saw though...  ;)

That looks like the same SD card I have, SanDisk 16 GB UHS-I.

Can't say there is a performance difference. I switched from an 8 GB Class 4, I also have some app data on the SD card (mount bind) such as game obb files and didn't see a noticeable difference in load times. Maybe in benchmarks I'd see it, don't know.

Let me know. I appreciate help.
The basic thing to look at as far as external SDCARDs for any phone, is:
    • Size. Most phones can't handle more than a 32GB card. Check phone specs to be sure (Google is your friend)
    • Class. A Class 4 card is appreciably slower than a Class 10 card. If it doesn't have a Class rating, assume it is, at max, a Class 2 or 4

    • Custom
    • Samsung Galaxy Exhilarate i577
    • Clock Work Mod
    • AreaRom X
    • Rooted-Rom
    Donations are appreciated!

How come NY galaxy note 10.1 when I put the 16gb SD in it the Ram Memory increased but my Centura  won't. My Note doesn't have MOVE TO SD feature just regular.
