I don't think people drop the n word here (try xda for that), and it indeed does sound like an honest mistake. I once tried to OC my desktop to 4.8Ghz, I was terrified. Don't know what to say, you may have fried an internal component.

I beg to differ, seeing a logo does not imply faulty sw only. In addition I now for a fact that OC can damage components.

You tried swap right? On most (sane) android devices mmcblk0 is the sdcard device node, but for some unfathomable reason the centura's flash is on an sdcard and android's kernel labels it there. So if you overwrote a partition thinking it was a SD card chances are it wasn't.

mmcblk0 is the main system on 99% of all android phones, mmcblk1 is your SDCARD Partition on a dual sdcard device its then broke down further as mmcblk1p1 and 1p2 upon this breakdown you can add paritions for 1p3 /data and 1p4 /cache and mount them in the kernel,

Odin tar files need to contain a "disk image", not a traditional ROM zip. Basically this is a dd of the /system partition.

And the CPU on the centura allows you to repartition the device using a PIT file (mmcblk0p4 IIRC). Using the repartition button in Odin will rewrite the nand and may restore your device.

State of emergency!! I'm trying to avoid a hard brick. I have two galaxy centura. One of them is running team centura and the other is soft bricked. The soft bricked centura doesn't have a custom recovery. Also, I DO NOT have an available pc. When I try to due the files on my ext sd card that has stock zip it will not let me flash them due to an E: signature verification.  Is there anyway around this??? Are there any files that I can add to the stock zip that will disable the verification? And I believe the nandroid..md5 won't work with the stock <3e >  recovery.  Any help will be appreciated.

Yep use odin and get either CWM or TWRP custom recovery for the centura. after getting the necessary files put the phone into download mode and the plug in the USB. On odin uncheck auto reboot and chose the PDA box. Navigate your desktop or wherever you placed the file and double click it and start the process. (make sure you load the custom recovery in the PDA box.) before you Go into recovery make sure you have a custom ROM for the phone. Place it on the Micro SD. Or if your friend has a phone use that to acess the micro sd and place the ROM on it. Then update from Zip and your done.

Grap the recovery.img from the OP or any where...and use either one of the commands below to install cwm with out a pc.........

you need to have the recovery.img on the root of the sdcard before doing this..............you need just the recovery.img not in a folder or zipped.......either cwm or twrp will work as long as there from the centura.........only way your gonna get it working....or a jig

    from Terminal

    su
    dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p12
    reboot recovery

    from adb

    adb shell
    su
    dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p12
    reboot recovery
