any one start this yet... i cant find the recovery.img i tried to read the file system but i cant i get blanks and when i get the partitions for it.. there are not labeled so i dont know whice one is the boot.img and recovery.img... if any of the older admin or dev. can help that will most greatful... my phone is so laggy after i tried to deleted some bloatware and no luck still a lil bit laggy but a difference.. i think. its just like that because of the ram and cpu we are only running a single core cpu but it should run 4.4.x.

The recovery for it needs to be built from source.so till a Dev has one in theres hands it will be a while till it gets any thing done for it
so. what do i need to do so i can give a dev the source.so? or what im new to this i want to try i have some years in the computer world.

See if LG has released there source for it if they have then there should be a read me file in it that tells you what you need from google source code to get a full source..then you will need to pull some files off your phone to make it complete for a build...and you will need to set up a build environment for it all
do you mean this? You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

yup see if theres any thing else you need to build it  beside setting up a build enviroment for it......build the rom to see if it will build...if it does then u should be able to build a custom recovery for it after u have all the files

i just checked it out and u will need to dl the 4.1 JB source as well then merge them all along with google toolchain in order to even start the build
how do i just get a custom recovery? dont want to do rom build yet want to get recovery to work first.

you need to see if it will build at all......if it does there should be a recovery img in the build after........or you can try make -j4 recoveryimage and see if it will build just the recovery.................then you need to find out what partition it is so u can fastboot it
well i pulled up the paritions its shows nothing but blanks... then is shows the blk# but no names for it... i tried all i can to read it.. not everything i didnt try linux to read the paritions im usen windows.
in file manager go to the root of the phone click on Dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.1/byname/recovery click on open as text and at the top left is should read some thing like this  mmcblkop17     may not be the same thing but it should be close to get you to the recovery partition...............

By  the Way the thank you button works lol
i did that and its by-num not name..

then click on one of them like 17 or some thing and it should say what it is in the top left
what do i have to do? click and read them as text files?

    yup
i dont know if you read the edit i made but i opened them all and some were blank and some were in chinese

all you want to do is open it and look at the top left corner for a blk nme thats all you need then u will know what blk recovery is  your not going to be able to read it from the phone any way its a img
ok here im in /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc.3/by-num cause msm_sdcc.1 only has one file in it. and all of them say mmcblk0pxx and there are 26 of  them

then u need to open them up and find the one that says recovery at the top left corner................
ok i got the recovery.img and i think the boot.img i think i dont know but i can post them so you can see if it them i tryed to make my own recovery.img but i cant find a why to do it.. i googled it for a good hour and nothing.
