      it wasn't me!
I just got one of these.
pretty nice phone for the price.
I too am seeking to root it, but I guess it's just too new at this point.  nothing to do but wait.

No luck yet. Apparently 4.3 can't be rooted without causing problems.

    Hello Nerowolf,
Can I ask a few questions about your S756c??
I am thinking of upgrading to a Style from a Centura/Craptura,
and would like to know a little more than the box tells you first.
    Thanks J

K, here goes, ... bear with me
does it "hang/freeze like the centura??
will an app it doesn't like cause ti to crash like the centura??
you already said it was faster than the centura, is it also smoother??
does it have FM like some spec sheets claim, or is that just for foreign markets and not ST??
and some spec sheets claim it has a magnetic compass, does this one??
It has a front facing camera, but can it Skype??

    And here are the spec sheets I found;

No doubt I will find other questions, but thanks in advance for these answers.

My centura is a nice little phone when it wants to behave, (just a little slow), but when it's cranky you can't do anything!
it'll freeze & you have to soft boot, it'll crash & you have to hard boot, it'll delete my ringtones so I won't hear an incoming call, I'm tempted to name it "Christine" but it doesn't have any wheels!

    Thanks
    J.

If the bootloader is unlocked, it can be rooted ;)

Samsungs are easy to root if they're unlocked.

Picked one of these up today. Its nice.. Rooted with the towelroot.  If your thinking about switching from the centura,
You want regret it, but no ROMs for it. Just can't help butbwonder why put jb on it when I'm sure kikat would have been a better option spec wise. But hey... Its still fast.
