I would also like to flash a stock unrooted rom.... or maybe its an unmodified kernel we need? why is it so hard to find a solution to this problem?

Not to be the red herring in the room but if you would have followed original instructions and made an initial cwm backup you would already have your stock rom ready to re-enable.
