Register or LoginWow I really thought there would be more Response to this with 21,000 + Members on the forum.I didn't respond because it's been almost twenty five years since I was a HAM. I had a 2600, it's a great little 10/11m. radio.I many radios over the years but never upgraded to general. Just didn't have the time to study with raising a family and all. When I was hamming though I was good for about 27wpm, code. I don't know why but I loved code. Now my ears are bad and wouldn't attempt it...lolLooks to me like you have a good start on things. I had wire strung all over the yard and talked all over the world. It was great fun. Good luck with your hobby. It can get exspensive though.... My old call was N5RYS, it has been reassigned since then.
KC5SBA here, Haven't been in the scene the last few years. I seen this post earlier this morning and thought I'd checkon the happenings in the ham world. Now I find out that they dropped the morse code requirement for General and higher class so might just upgrade my license from Tech to General. Thanks for jogging my memory Lol!!
