I have this LG phone also known as the LG lucid. (Or perhaps the lucid 2) It runs 4.4.2 And was just so easy to root with towelroot. So easy I almost thought it didnt even work! I was in such a rush to do things to it that I flashed cwm on it via terminal emulator. Yeah, locked bootloader. So the phone works but I have no recovery on it. It doesnt get into download mode either. I can flash the stock recovery back the same way i did cwm i believe but I need a copy of the stock recovery and I cant find it anywhere. I have been all over tha web looking for this and I just cant find it. Man, if somebody has that somewhere or knows of a working link for this that would really rock! This is a decent little phone. My wife has the note 2 and while thats obviously a better phone, side by side im not really impressed. Thanks for all the help on the centura I had before this, it jad an unfortunate incident involving the mississippi river!!!!

really? nobody has this? this is the first kit kat phone that i have seen that brings back official support to move apps to the sd card. we have all sorts of development for the centura in here but nit this one?? guess its that locked bootloader. man thats a bummer. i woud be totally willing to risk my phone as a beta tester, id even buy another one if it broke and do it some more. (i got a hookup for these. thats my story and im sticking to i!) i would do it myself but im not educated enough. cmon folks, give her the ole once over!!!!!!

Its kinda of hard to work on a phone that you dont have.................and with a locked bootloader it makes it even harder............the lg fuel has a locked bootloader and i bricked a few trying to get it unlocked with a recovery on it................so my advice to you right now is till the bootloader is unlocked i wouldnt try to fastboot/flash any recovery to it.......that is unless you have a unlimited supply of them............

Yes. Its the exceed2. Lucid was wrong. That was what I had seen all over in my search. I have a custom recovery on it. No unlimited supply!! I can't get into the recovery due to the locked bootloader. It says error 710 and some text I can't remember right now when I try to get into it. Not holding my breath on the unlocked boot loader! Very VERY little development for this device. What I want to do is restore the stock recovery on it. I used a terminal emulator. Like I said, I know better than that. Can't believe I did that! I can't get onto download mode and even more than that I can't even find the firmware for this model. Vs840pp is out there. There is a Dropbox with the new exceed 2 out there but its the wrong firmware. I can't decrypt it anyway to get the recovery out of it to try. Probably woudnt brick me but I'm not sure. I am not going to stop looking. I have spent HOURS on the phone with both LG and Verizon. I finally got a guy at Verizon the other day that was really excited that I called, "finally an interesting problem" he said. But he couldn't give me the recovery and while we were both searching the internet in tandem and trying to figure it out the phone hung up. That blows because I know he was better than me at this by far. Nobody else even tries!! I have no idea how to move forward with this but "give up" is ancient Greek words to me!

Nope. I know the solution, I just don't have the files. Been EVERYWHERE! Looked from the north to the south, took a aide trip to the east and got lost and ended up in the west along the way
    Edit
     Whoa, not that hardheaded!
Im going ro try to get an engeneering biotloader that works for this phone out of someone at verizon. Also, ima keep looking for the file because I am pretty sure the first option is dead in the water. Im officially stumped. All out of realistic ideas. Damn. Looks like this is ginna be the way it is. Fwask you verizon. Concept of ownership a little too much for you to understand i guess. Last money I ever spend with them. The bastards.

I had a soft brick situation with the vs450pp and actually could not use my phone for about 4 months till now...I finally happened across the stock firmware and totally reflashed the phone back to working order through download mode. If your still needing this, let me know.

@woodybjr It would be amazing if you could post that Stock ROM for us! Do you also have the proper flashing DLLs?
