Let me know. I appreciate help.
    First off, welcome to AA51

Second, you gotta have a computer if you want to do any Android stuff beyond just installing different apps. Most any will do, because the prefered OS to do programming and compiling for Android is Linux, and it can run on almost anything. (Most tutorials are writtan for Ubuntu, so you might want to try starting there). So find an older computer (I'd advise at least a dual-core and 2GB of memory), and GOOGLE, GOOGLE, GOOGLE

Watching ur back gets u stabbed in the neck.
Well inameasone I have to say I'm right there with you man. I just got out as well. I only did a 1 1/2 years however and I've been doing this a while. Something to look into is learning a programming language and maybe playing with Linux like he said. I started out scripting in game editors like Warcraft 3 and stuff when i was young. Modding a phone is tricky if you do not know exactly what your doing. I get scared with every phone i root because I'm not sure if the directions i followed assumed i was not ignorant of some small step or such. So like he said Google and you will learn its basically taught me all i know and now I'm going to school for it. Start Learning Visual Basic as it is a scripting language and it will teach you some basics. Just remember every language has its own nomenclature so its all a little different while remaining similar. Good Luck brother.

Hey here is apktool for Android, works right on your phone for decompiling and compiling apk's. Gives the ability to theme and mod right on your Android.  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

    Oh good, more help :).

Can't say much more than what's up there. Java, C and sh are the major languages of Android, followed by bash, XML writing and other such "fun" :

I struggled with it at first, did you unpack the tools then point the app at them?
