Issue with activating

    I have the LGl38C and according to the tracfone website I am active. I can not activate the phone however by dialing *22890 or any other *228 number. Heck I can't call anything.  Even if I have 4 bars, as soon as I hit the call button all bars go away and I get no dial tone, no ringing, nothing. Just silence then the beep beep beep and message that it did not go through. I have already spent over 84 minutes on the phone (from my phone) with tracfone. The sent me a new phone and it still does it. They swear everything is working on their end. the checked the towers near me and service strength and all is excellent. the rest the phone and manually did whatever to it and it still won't call. I bought the phone 3 weeks ago and they refuse to refund me for the phone or minutes I had to add just to activate it.  I get wifi, I can go online, I rooted it today to see if that would help. But no, nothing.  Please tell me there is some stupid setting or something I can do to fix this.

    I really hope someone here can help me. I posted in one other forum and I was just told to demand a refund or eat the money I am out of.

    Your issue is with TracFone. Tell then you want to speak to someone in the USA.

      not afraid of mods_dont get mad at bricks
    try dialing *611, its verizon prepay. tracfone strait talk are both under them i believe.
