Thanks again, but that too has the same issue.  I tried using the adb.exe in your files as well and see the same behaviors ("adb wait-for-device" never finding the phone).

Any other suggestions or is the phone destined to be scrapped for parts?  I do see several other used ones on ebay currently...it's a good thing I only spent $30 on this one.

Still not having any luck getting adb working.  I was going to give that flashtool download a try, but as you said I need a firmware image for this lgl38c phone.  I'm not sure where to start looking (or what I'm really looking for), but it would seem like there must be an appropriate image in the stock rooted nandroid download somewhere.  I see there are a number of files: recovery.img, boot.img, and a number of *.tar files.  Any ideas?

Im pretty sure I bricked my dynamic. I rooted it using superoneclick and just used an app to uninstall all the useless things (google maps, google play music, etc). The other day I wanted to listen to some music in my car with it so I grabbed my FM transmitter and plugged it in. I then plugged in my phone and it shut off. It wont turn on at all. I let it charge all night thinking that might fix it and still nothing. My computer wont even recognize that I plugged it in. I tried turning it on with the power+volume down+home button combo and still nothing. I hear a slight hum coming from my phone when its plugged in, so I think its getting power, yet I dont even get a backlight when holding the buttons. Is there hope for my phone? or did my shitty FM transmitter break my phone? Im very new to all this so please use simple terms when explaining.

Anyone that ran the Logic's one click on the Dynamic needs only to run the correct one click. Any one that ran the Dynamic's one click on the Logic has bricked your phone.

I just and and Rom'd a friend's dynamic without issue, if you're bricking phones are supported here then you can't comprehend the instructions that are given and  should just stay stock....IMO
