I've partitioned the sdcard for use with links2sd using cwm and the phone won't recognize the the first partition.  Links2sd recognizes the second partition which is ext4 and cwm recognizes the the first FAT32 partition.  Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix?  I'm using the AreaROM 1.0 but i think this was a problem also being stock.

another way is to make your first partition for cwm fat32 in the size you need for a nand, and then partition the rest fat32 also, the problem is that links2sd makes a mess out of your readable mounted partition.

There is no need to do a Nandroid. It will be broken any way.

With a 2 partition setup i have done a nand that works but links2sd has to be setuo for this. It's just a pain because inserting your sdcard into computer only reads the 1st partition and hooking up your phone to the computer only reads the 2nd fat partition. It's unfortunate to even need an app like links2sd or apps2sd with a gig of internal storage.

After going back & reading you post I see I misunderstood you. I've never tried using Link2SD on a fat partition.

I haven't found a need for extra storage yet. I have all the apps I use & still have room. My compliant was the download folder but fixed that with Folder Mount. We are working on the problem tho.
