I've gotten a few messages about how I fixed my Google Talk Authentication error without a factory reset. So I figured I should just post them here. Now, this is what worked for me.

STANDARD DISCLAIMER: Make sure you have a nandroid backup just in case. Not responsible if you break something.

Problem is with the market and google services framework. Clearing data from both will fix it temporarily.
Clearing both and going into /data/data/ and deleting the keys, then the app_sslcache directory then rebooting seems to fix it for me. Folder regenerated with correct keys after market login. Apparently, from what I could find, these keys are left over from source phone or something.

    So, Steps

    1. Install ES file explorer or Root explorer.(I used ES file explorer. Enable root in the settings)
    2. clear the Market and Google Services Framework data.

    3. Use the explorer to navigate to

    4. There will be 2 or 3 files there, delete them. Then back out one directory and delete app_sslcache directory(Android will re-create these files and directory on reboot)

    5. reboot. Should be fixed.

    Hope this helps.
