Hello all. About a week ago I got the net10 LG Optimus Logic phone, the lgl35g specifically. I found out about rooting so I downloaded the One Click Root package for this phone. Thing is I haven't tried rooting yet because I'm kinda scared lol. I want to k now what to do if the phone somehow bricks. I hear the only way to brick is if you're basically stupid, but it doesn't hurt to be safe.

Also can someone tell me all the benefits of rooting? And what is nandroid?  Thank you.

I messed this one some how. It didn't show up as a new thread for me so I'm sorry for the slow reply.

As long as you have a good USB, follow instructions, & the power doesn't go out it is pretty safe. However I do know of one person that everytime I said not to do something they did & bricked it. Of course it was all my fault when he went around the web to find out how to do what I told then not to.

So if you carefully read the guide & make sure you understand all should be well.

A Nandroid is like a picture of your system. it copies everything so if you need to do a restore the recovery can put everything back to exactly how it was when you made it.

Haha, thanks a lot for the reply. I used to hack PSP's years ago, creating custom memory sticks and batteries just to get a custom firmware, lol, those were the days, so I should be able to do this with no probs. Just wanted to be on the safe side. :)
