I have tried ALL of the ROMs for the L55C, and I can't get past the initial setup screen.

My touch screen does not work.

If there is a way to make these ROMs work, I would LOVE to know how!

    Thanks!

You need a kernel from the Net (l45c) in order for the touchscreen to work.

ok, so I will reveal my ignorance... I found a link to a 'stock kernel' on my other question here.   Thank you for posting!

Now, I don't know what to do with this kernel.

I saw that the last step in any ROM flashing was the installation of the new kernal.  So I tried flashing to ARQ1.5 and then installing the stock kernal.  MISTAKE.  I am stuck in a loop of somekind.  I reboot from CWM Recovery and it goes straight back to CWM Recovery.

    What do I do now??

if you have CWM installed from a factory reset, do a nandroid backup of the STOCK operating system for the phone, it will be placed in a folder on the sdcard called backups inside the clockworkmod folder, copy the whole clockworkmod folder to your PC and zip the STOCK Nandroid upload it somewhere and give me a link to it, i will download it and make a custom AreaRom for the L45C
