On my Win7 laptop, I connect the usb cable and enable MTP on phone, and I can see the SD card and contents.

On my XP desktop machine, no dice.  I installed several different LG drivers, 3.10 and 3.11 and the msft MTP kit. I can view the photos or music, but that is all it will let me see with MTP or PTP. One opens photoshop and the other opens media player.  No choice  the view any other type extension or transfer any files.

How is anyone transferring files to the SD card besides the slow bluetooth with XP SP3?

I've transferred files from my XP NetBook which has a built-in SD card reader.

I've also used ES File Manager to transfer files from my XP PC over the wireless network.

I really don't want to have to remove the sd card every time.

    It was easy with ICS.

1st Thanks for adding me, and I apologize if I'm doing this wrong.  My question: Do I need to uninstall apps like ES File Manager and/or my music downloader before rooting my Optimus Fuel?
