in regards to the above link to repository this guy has not built this code yet because he is on x86 system and cm11 does not support it he was saying so basically someone just needs to build it that has a x64 machine you will of course have to get all the other necessary build stuff like cm11 master etc merge it all and build i dunno, i may give it a go once i get the chance to actually focus.

Their is a repository from a guy trying to make a working loki for it here You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login I have no idea how its working out so far just thought i would share it.

It seems I'm being confused with another poster at xda.  My Dev machine has been functional for over 2 years now so that's not an issue.  The device tree linked was a rough draft for safe keeping.  It will not compile from those commits.  I can build recoveries all day but they will still fail the bootloader verification process.  If I get a chance I'll upload my working tree just to get it out there.

I've spent days decompiling the Bootloader and it's locked up pretty tight.  Loki has been patched for awhile and so has another exploit  where you could change the secure boot routing to always return a passed verification value.

Work is slow.  Been dealing with family health issues so I might be absent for a little bit (My mother Just had hip replacement and will have another one in about 6 weeks so I've been helping her).  Of course if I make any actual progress I will make sure to post it.

There is a somewhat nasty workaround for booting into recovery and actually being able to view the menus.  You must be rooted and able to boot your phone (I know, what good is that really).  It could possibly (not tested) be executed from adb if your phone will atleast boot far enough for adb to recognize it (Previously accepted the security key and phone is rooted).

Save this script to a file and execute it as root on the phone.  It does not persist through reboots.  As far as I could tell from the source, the values present in the command file get written to a temporary area of the bootloader and then erased after completion of the task?  Still looking into that.

    Script:

Code: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
    #!/system/bin/sh

    cd /cache/recovery

    echo "--show_text" >> command

    chmod 644 command

    reboot recovery

    Or Possibly through adb:
Code: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
    adb shell
    su
    cd /cache/recovery
    echo "--show_text" >> command
    chmod 644 command
    reboot recovery

I got that tree to build :P

For Some reason, setting "TARGET_BOARD_PLATFORM := msm8610" would throw errors for me.  I updated the repo with a few changes and created a new branch and pushed your changes to it.  So I'm going to cancel the previous merge request.

I made up a 56k/130k/910k factory cable to try and fix one of my Fuels.  It doesn't seem to do much.  It definitely seems to trigger different modem modes.  Still just sits there and bootloops though.  I'm crawling through the kernel source and bootloader again trying to identify a definitive method to fix the phone.  With us all tinkering with this phone it would be nice to have a way of fixing them.

Has anyone had any experience with factory cables?  I'm not convinced that Lg's Kitkat roms still have the functionality they had in JB.

if his is like my 3 then hes not going to get it workng again till some thing is figured out.........if its just the aboot u changed then ya you will get it back................but if its a custom recovery/unsecure boot.img then its a little bit harder than that..........

it puts itself in bulk mode so check this and that will tell you if it is....plug phone up to pc and check under my computer for windows and see if it shows the phone plugged in as it would a usb stick.....if you open that it will have two folder image and verinfo, if so then you should possibly be able to recover it in linux.....unless maybe you overwrote the boot.img is what daddy is saying that he cant get his fixed....i overwrote only aboot.img and i could recover.

No, only one Steve. I'm the guy from xda with the 32bit system. But since xda doesn't have specific category for this phone, I guess I am now here. :) Looks like more is getting done here anyway.

So I copy/pasted that script to a text file, and renamed it as recscript.sh,  fired up terminal emulator and typed su >enter
sh /storage/external_ SD/recscript.sh>enter, and yeah, it works like a charm. The easier method, which also works, is to open the text file, select all, and copy/paste it into terminal, after su of course

Their is something that I wanted to throw out there in hopes of it perhaps being useful, I dunno but I did notice something while my aboot was messed up and the phone was in bulk mode, I connected it to my pc with usb and then opened lgmobile support tool, once loaded i click on options then upgrade recovery....it then asks for the meid number once i enter that it actually starts to download the files to the phone....perhaps their may be some sort of exploit there.....it did not complete though due to the battery not being fully charged, but I am wondering if the phone goes into any special priveledges during this process that could be made to stick.

The same process does not work when the phone is not in bulk mode, it then tells you that the device is not connected.

UPDATE: After installing the usb drivers from lg now the support tool sees the phone in charge only mode while not in bulk mode, however this is interesting it sees it as a LG-V500, perhaps if their is a method to unlock Bootloader on that it may work on this the same way.....it says it is lg-v500 with lgl34c software version, very strange indeed....if nothing else I think their is a loki for v500 so hopefully same will work for this.

below is a link for a loki with TWRP & CWM that works for lg-v500 <----note this is not for the fuel so dont flash it. I am only posting this in hopes a dev can use this to modify it for the fuel, it is a good sign since this device has the same hardware.
