    you don't start cwm, you boot into it...could you give some more specifics about what you're doing?

    You've made 3 threads following the same basic line of questions... PPlease don't do that. It makes the board look cluttered and sloppy.

    I bet you flashed recovery onto the boot partition...

    That would make sense, because it would be easy to mistake /dev/block/mmcblk0p16 for 17 as output file. Easiest fix might be to use daishi4u's twrp recovery to flash kernel (boot_ bumped.img) to boot partition.

    @Acehardline
    Since you are in cwm, and not twrp, And since there are not yet any flashable zips for boot.img and recovery.img, your options are more limited. If you can access the phone from computer (linux is best) via adb, you can install boot.img to the proper partition. Store daishi4u's boot_bumped.img to the ROOT of your sd card using card reader of computer. Unmount (eject) sd and insert it into phone. Power on phone and recovery starts. Connect to computer via usb. Open terminal and type adb devices. If properly connected, you will get a listing lgl34cabcxyz. If phone is recognized, you can type:
    adb shell
    It should read:~#
    now type:
    dd if=/external_sd/boot_bumped.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p16
    (That is a zero before p16)
    type: exit
    type: adb reboot
    phone should reboot into OS

    If you haven't yet sent your phone back to tracfone, I have packaged zips of boot and recovery that are flashable in CWM. You could probably use these to repair it yourself:
