Does anybody know if this l34c phone has a motion sensor? When trying to play games like Temple Run 2 which require you to tilt the device to steer the character it doesn't work. Or would this be due to lack of a gyroscope? Has anybody played any motion-based games and have they worked for you? Anybody know?  ???

yeah, my screen does rotate when I have auto-rotate setting turned on. What I'm talking about is in (mostly) games like Temple Run 2 you're supposed to steer the character by tilting your phone to the left to steer the character left. And to steer right you tilt the phone right and the character goes right. However this isn't working. Assuming those funtions rely on a gyroscope sensor. So maybe this phone doesn't have a gyro then..? Can't really find any tech specs that say if it does or not either.   ::)

You can calibrate the motion sensor in settings >> gestures. There is also an app called z device test. It clearly shows 3 dimensional motion of my phone. I believe all of the motion is sensed by sampling the earths magnetic field along three axes. Not a gamer myself, but possibly it's a setting in the game. Don't know.

yeah, I guess these types of games must just rely on gyroscope sensor then. The Fuel apparently doesn't have one. Oh well. Still a neat little phone. 8)
