so i have a lg realm rooted with link2sd, with apps linked to a ext2 partition, the apps disappeared that were linked.  so i tried to reinstall gmail and it says i have insufficient space, yet i have 767mb free internal and 3.78gig free external... i'm guessing there are pieces of the old gmail still floating around in the phone but i have no idea where to look, please does anybody have any ideas what to do? been without email on the phone for about a month, and i figured out why (i think) the apps went way i forgot to set the first partition to active, well anyways please help me get gmail back.....thanks a lot!!!

Possibly try reformatting your partitions via twrp/cwm recovery as well reformatting your sdcard either with gparted or similiar method plus flashing a working ROM before youve done the link2sd procedure. Or a nandroid backup (WORKING ROM).

Plus i recommand you use ext3/4 for apps to(linked) sdcard it should work on all kernels if not then ext2 needs to be use instead. GParted is a good way to partition your sdcard.

No problem. A factory reset is An easy way to reformat its partitions instead of doing it manually or with a script.sh file. In init.d directory or with the terminal emulator :D.

    Your welcome.
