Ok, I am humbly bowing out from my stubbornness of not stopping to ask for directions. Although I have found a new-found addiction in electronic tinkering, I'm stuck!!!! One thing I have noticed is that the lgl38c/ lg dynamic is probably the least supported android in the LG line-up. Very little support on it anywhere! Almost all support is for one-click root, recovery. That one-click works! It is what started my impulsive zip rom behavior that got me into this mess. So if anyone could answer one of a few questions I have.. you rock!!
I can no longer even reboot into recovery. I'm accepting a potential brick, for it is too cumbersome to even wipe my butt with. But... I want to try a few more possibilities.
My first question is.. I know it occasionally falls into the e400 group, but the word I don't like there is the "occasional" part. Is there perhaps another phone, even outside of the US that is basically its clone, and what is it called??
Secondly, I need to find a definite cab/kdz firmware link for it.. preferably 2.3.3 gingerbread, but at this point if it works I'll take "fruit-cake".
Third question is, why on earth are the cab/kdz files on links that are undownloadable? how do you get them??
I'm sure I need a new CWMod too, especially with my stack of nanos, unmatched mdu5's, and a corrupted sd card.
Yes im a mess.. but I can do baby steps. Otherwise, Im out to by a new phone today and that one is already in jeapordy. So dont everyone yell brick at me yet? >.<

Hey. I'm pretty much a newbie around here but I ran into the same situation.  After running cwm I couldn't boot into recovery, but I found quite by accident that if I re ran the one click root on my phone it pretty much fixed the problem of not being able to boot into recovery.  I'm pretty sure the cwm rom that lists the L3 rom is not compatible with our phone.
