A lot of questions come across the chat about how to partition your SD card.... Well, follow these steps EXACTLY and you will be able to partition your SD card with no problems.

Step 1: Backup all the data on your sd card you want to save.
Step 2: Reboot into recovery/Boot into recovery
Step 3: In CWM/ClockWorkMod recovery go to the advanced option and select "Partition SD Card"
Step 4: Select your partition size. (I recommend 1024mb though 512mb can work depending on what you're trying to do)
Step 5: Select a 0mb swap partition size. DO NOT USE SWAP
Step 6: Go to Mounts and Storage in CWM and select "mount USB storage"
Step 7: Restore your sd card data.
Step 8: Wipe cache/wipe dalvik cache and wipe data/factory reset.
    Step 9: Flash your rom...

This is something that interests me, just for clarity the only thing I really am unsure of is the last step which seems fairly obvious yet I still have to ask so as to avoid making a numbskull mistake, by flashing you mean to t reload the AR ROM from scratch correct?

Reflash/flash your rom after you partition. Go to install zip from SD card, choose zip from SD card, and then find your Rom and choose it.

That's what I thought, I just had to be sure as I'm waiting for my new larger sd card.

fair warning though partitioning the SDCARD WILL DELETE EVERYTHING OFF IT.. so you will have to copy the .zip back to the sdcard before you can reinstall...

I already backed it up before and after rooting. I like to mess around so...... Can never be to safe, just in case. Now another thing I'm curious about which is also along these same lines and a friend at work asked about is can you use the sd card in the same way but as virtual RAM?
