Does anyone know if it is possible to install A2SD++ on top of The Real Big Jake's AWESOME ARQV2.1 updated rom,  or how i could allow Titanium Backup to move app data to the SD card like i was able to do using Link2SD on EngdroidQ? Love the work you gus have done. I started playing with rom switching and overclocking when my wife said we couldn't get new phones. My phone has been given a second chance thanks to everyone's contributions to this board.

If your sd is partitioned already you just type "a2sd cachesdreset" in terminal with root and it will move all apps + data to the partition on your sd for you :D It is all built in...

Is there a way to do that automatically? I've installed about a gig worth of apps and I was afraid a cachesdreset would only reeindex my already installed apps and leave the data on the sd card. I would likke to create a modified reboot scriipt that automatically vacs and scleans to run while I'm asleep every morning (Third shifter here) but Tasker confused the crap out of me. I've done plenty of linux scripting on pc, but on my phone things don't seem to work the same. Jake, you're great for posting the modded ARQ, I love it. I switched from Engdroid Q, which I was running because I couldn't solve the ARQ lag problem I was facing, and Android Assistant seemed to only create Notre problems. I installed the A2SDGUI butt and used its low memory settings and boom, lag disappeared! I had gotten fed up with Engdroid because Link2sd was leaving broken things behind that never got cleaned up and made my boot times around 4 minutes.

Well I tried the cachesdreset, but all it did was reset my widgets and refresh the moved apps, but all the data is still stored internally. Its only a problem because my internal storage is fairly full. Even though Link2SD let me do this very easily, its too sloppy with leaving broken pointers behind.

Is it full or does the phone think it is almost full? With a2sd enabled the internel memory does not read correctly so it may just be messing with your head, lol.  Have you received any low memory warnings?

For vac and sclean you could use the app smanager (script manager) to run a script once a week for ya :D

Nope, its full as in; I can't install anything else because my app data; which reads correctly (not a newb to a2sd, just data moves) is consuming all the actual internal storage. The only thing on the sd ext is apps libs and dbs; but the data stores still remain.

Weird, I have almost 200 apps installed at the moment and my internal always reads around half full. I haven't been able to fill the internel and believe me I tried, lol.
I wonder what you are doing differently? How big is your partition? Mine is 1gb and I can't seem to fill that up either :D

My partition is 2GB, it is 56% full; and it would be completely full if my internal storage had enough room to install anything else, I just keep getting low storage errors anytime I try insttalling or updating anything larger than about 10MB. If thre data could move to the sd, it would have at least 150MB free, but only A2SD++ supports moving data. A2SD and A2SD+ do not. Really tring to figure out which one ARQ runs on; and if I can install ++ over it if its not.

You could possibly use the app Folder Mount to move /data to the partition, not sure if it will work alongside a2sd or not.

I am looking into mounting /data/data to the partition, not sure if it is possible on this phone...

I talked to the other devs and we are going to try and compile a kernel with the "big data" mod which will mount the /data folder to an ext4 partition without the need of a2sd :D
