Nice themes and boot animations...very nice.

I did notice that 'android zaps crApple 3' boot animation did not work. Just a blank screen where boot logo should be. Phone boots up ok basically skipping boot logo screen, showing blank instead.

I went and tested all the boot logo's after seeing this.

The following boot logo's do not work...tested with default AreaRom Proclaim v1.1 theme and Sony's Experia Glow Theme:

    - aa51bwootanimation
    - android zaps crApple 3
    - android_logo
    - AndroidParticles1
    - AndroidParticles1_Blue
    - BlueHoneyBee
    - cm9
    - CountDroid
    - jollyroger
    - redhelix

All other boot logo's included work OK

Use the system files from ARP1.0. I'm not sure what causes those errors, some of the themes are okay but some aren't. After you download your new framework you can extract the files with 7zip and copy any files you want tho the new framework. About the only thing UOT will change successfully is the battery, status bar dropdown, and the pop-up windows. Everything else in my themes I do manually.

Yeah, I haven't been able to get the lockscreen back, it's gone on yours as well. I've been downloading the battery packs and just hand crafting the rest but there are a lot of extra unused files in your themes so it's hard to navigate around.

The lock screen is there I just have some of the icons blacked out for a cleaner look. Those were my first themes ever and I've learned a lot since then. I'm just about ready to post updates and some new themes are almost finished as well.

If you have any where there are no extra icons so I'm not doubling my work on old icons I will be happy to submit some stuff I've been working on.

Besides that the only other thing I'm having an issue with is changing some font colors. The xml files are garbled and I'm not sure of the process needed to decipher. I can't swap out kitchen xml files without risking corruption either.

Which icons are you talking about specifically?

I tried using UOT Kitchen to make a less vibrant theme and I am getting a whole list of errors.

Any idea what is going wrong? I used the same settings file with minor changes to the UI options.
I redid all the themes and tested them, They should all be able to be modified with UOT Kitchen without the errors.

Viper blue steel for example: when you open up the framework and systemUI apk files there are a lot of extra files and duplicates. There is a folder for HD resolutions when the phone isn't HD and they shouldn't even belong(afaik).

I'm not sure how to edit the colors of text and stuff because the xml files are garbled; I think I just need an editor for this though.

It's mostly just that there are so many duplicates of icons I have no idea what to edit. As far as UOT kitchen goes, I would upload your framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk and UOT would error displaying what I previously posted.

I just updated every theme last night and they should all work with UOT now.  As far as duplicates go, if look at the stock framework, it's the same way. My suggestion to you is to extract the framework from one of the Roms to with.
As far as the xml files you probably need a hex editor. There's a lot of info on this over at XDA.

hey...what is the hex color you used for the pink theme? I flashed it and it looks pretty good with the pink crap I already have but I want to tweak some stuff and incorporate your theme with mine.  My pink is a little darker so it looks kinda funny with the two together. Well...my pink is a little purplish pink I guess....

We're the only ones still supporting the Proclaim, so I'd say we're the only ones with themes :).

Did you ever get that solved?  I really would like to get rid of the pull down menu's transparency because it is too transparent and merges with the underlying image.  Did someone set it for 50% or what?
