I rooted my Samsung Precedent and installed the AreaRomv3.5 to it.

I was looking through some icon sets on the interwebs and I came across these: You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login

I want to use them, but I have no idea how to.

Any good links to explain how I can set up those icons to use on my phone?

I have Holo Launcher if that matters.

Also wondering how to change the boot screens and the notification screen (when you drag the top bar down)...

Thanks in advance for any help.

In my experience I've found that its best to use launcher specific themes. You can grab almost any theme free off of the play store. As for the notification bar and other things you can find them in settings. Either mod, launcher or phone. Just cycle and through and find what each one does. It'll also help you learn more about the functions of the rom.

I was actually wondering the same as the original poster and unfortunately haven't came across anything like a mod for our rom to change it. But then again, this is all new to me haha.  I did see where you can create your own but if I start on that, I'll lose sleep for two days again thanks to my ADD lol.

Most icon sets tell you which launchers they will work with. Download ones which say holo launcher. Use the holo launcher settings widget, look through the menus and pick your new theme. Some themes install and do the setup for you.

It still won't change the statusbar :/ Holo launcher caused my phone to go nuts so I finally removed and replaced with ADW.

Just came across this site.. You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login I haven't been able to make sure it works for our rom but I'm going to search more when I get home.

I, too, would like to change the Precedent AreaROM 3.5 boot and lock screen images to something less likely to produce nightmares for children.  Any suggestions, please?
