Ok Iam making this thread for people to post PRL files as they find ones that work on the precedent.

Here is a step by step with screenshots for flashing PRLS with CDMA-Workshop: Click Here

Please do not do what everyone on the prevail thread does and just post links to other forums or threads where we have to search for links other people posted to prls, this is very annoying....

Please only post direct links to prl files or Zip files(perfered) and please dont ask how to flash them in this thread I would like this to just be a list of PRL files.

What I have learned about PRLs:

Ok I have done some research on PRLs and figured I would break it down.

    1. There is no "Magicial" PRL that will allow you to connect to every tower in the world.

    2. Agreements between carriers can change daily. so one PRL may be awesome today but suck tommorow.

    3. Use a PRL that is for your phones type of signal. The precedent uses CDMA, so dont think a GSM PRL will work. (this could damage your phone)

    4. Making changes like this to your phone runs some risk of damage, so proceed at your own risk.

    5. Share stuff with other people, If you find a PRL that works then please post it for others to try.

    Thank You,
    PureEvil

Ok let me break down a PRL file as far as I understand them:

Every Providers Cell Towers have a number called a "SID"

Your PRL file has a list of SID's that your provider has permission to use (among other random stuff I dont understand lol)

A prl file begins by looking at your "Home SID" and seeing if that SID is usable at your current location, If it isnt then it begins to go down this list testing each SID in the PRL file until it finds one that works.(this is why your battery dies faster when your roaming)

Now certian SIDs in this list will be set higher or "MORE" (as its written in the PRL) and others just to be normal or "SAME".

Now different PRL files will have diffrent SIDs and how often they are searched by your phone (this is why some work better then others for people)

    Things you should know:

There is no "magical" PRL that will let you connect to every tower in the world (but if you find one then please send it to me lol)

A PRL file wont let you connect to towers that your provider isnt allowed to connect to (eg: StraightTalk on Verizon), the tower still requires a Username and password that your phone sends automaticaly.

Here are some photos of what a PRL file looks like:

    Hope this helps,
    PureEvil

P.S. This is what I have gathered from my own research, this doesnt mean its 100% correct.

Hello all, was experimenting with prl's today and found this prl file off of another website and found that it helped my reception a bit.  I live in east Tn, so this might not be the case with you.

"we're all stars now, in the dope show."
okay. so, I found this prl. not sure if It was included.. but here it is. supposedly one of the best? prls for the sprint network. haven't had the chance to test it out considering I can't change prls on cm7 but..I hope someone will find it useful

edit:from what I've read, it pretty much forces you into roaming,, and allows you to connect to all towers of the companies that ARE AFFILIATED WITH SPRINT. as mentioned above, there is no magic prl file, but this does open up alot more towers.cheers.

Here's what I got. It includes the stock boost prl. I have been using the 61009, but I updated the phone to get it and I dont have the full CDMA workshop so I cant copy it. Only tested a few here in Illinois, no huge difference though.
