Hello, I rooted my samsung galaxy proclaim last night (SCH-S720C) and that worked (used framaroot) but then I used heimdall to flash CWM and heimdall gave me the green light to reboot to recovery and when I did I got stuck on the samsung screen. I removed the battery because I couldn't reset it. Now it will only boot to download mode. What do I do to revive it? (And if i can get proper instructions for flashing cwm via heimdall that'd be great) thank you!!

I recommend you use odin since the device is from Samsung.

*Download the proper usb drivers for your device.

    Download odin program

Download the cwm recovery .tar file

As well the hawk.pit or viper.pit file. Its around the proclaim threads.

    Open odin program
Have your device on adb mode,
Connect it to your computer you'll see a green glow on it. Means its good to go.

Click on pda find the cwm recovery.tar file

Click on pit find the hawk.pit/viper.pit file

    Unselect reset/reboot check box

    Hit run

You should see a blue glowing
    With a success line

Unplug it, take out your battery or just go to recovery mode,
By holding volume down/volume up + power button. When you see the Samsung white logo release just the power  button. You should be on cwm custom recovery mode by now.

Did you ever get it fixed? PM me if you like, I recently did the same thing, and have all the files handy (drivers/odin) if you need and can walk you thru it.

Try this: turn off your device. Then press and hold the power button. When you see the Samsung logo, plug in your device into the computer. But do it really fast..

After that, unplug the USB cable from your device. Turn it off once again. Do it again(all the previous steps from the beginning) but this time go into download mode. Fire up Odin and see if it recognizes it.

I got it back up and running. Just a moment ago I was reading one post and a guy told someone with my problem to try another cable. I remember that I got another cable after the fail and started using it. I just went and got the original one that I used first and Odin saw it and I flashed arp v1.1. WORKING NOW... BOOTS FINE AND REBOOTS FINE. Can I update? Is the a newer version now?
