that's is a NO go for the extra SD card, I did however immediately make a backup of my precedent and saved it on my PC thanks to this issue. back to the drawing board, i suppose it's a good thing this isn't my calling phone, these two are to learn on.

sd-ext isn't mounting because your SD card is not partitioned. It's not necessary for CWM to work either.

what are you trying to do exactly??

for nandroid backups you need to copy it within the clockworkmod> backup folder.
              nandroid backups will have
                the following things:
                                 android_secure
                                 boot
                                 cache
                                 data
                                 nandroid
                                 recovery
                                 system

for normal ROMs (non nandroid backups) you need to copy it on the root of your sdcard.
                         normal ROMs will
                have the following things:
                              itll be zipped
                                   META-INF
                                   system folder

                    thats about it

I am Trying to put the nandroid on my Illusion cuz I am stuck in a CWM loop(I'll call it) . I was having  sd-ext, and sd wont mount error, I am using MiniTool Partition wizard and I have a 2g sd card, I put a partition and am able to mount sd-ext, still unable to mount sd card. my partition is as follows for a 2g.

Capacity                         used                   unused                 file system                      type               status
          768.70 MB                    28.32MB                740.39 MB                Ext3                         primary             none
          1.06GB                          35.37MB                1.02GB                     Ext3                         primary              hidden

I'm pritty sure this is incorrect
Any help is very much appreciated
I'm learning you can find just about any info you need on google but you have to sift threw a mountain Dookie to find that golden nugget of info you need!

I have been using this backup for a while and just noticed today that the camcorder freezes(though the camera still works fine) and that I cannot watch anything on youtube or anything using the stock video player.  I can watch videos if I use a 3rd party player like MX player.  I believe some others have experienced this as well.  Is there anything that can be done to fix these issues?
