A simle google search found many external chargers for cell phone batterys if thats what u want... u would need a spare battery while the one is chargingI feel your pain with the weak mini usb connections.. sure it was designed that way to sell more phones. $30 at radio Shack gets you a good out of the phone charger with wall and car adapter. Of course $50 at cell phone cpr gets you a new port. Sent from my SCH-S720C using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
Good News if the part is wonky you can use other chargers such as thought from LG if the part is that far damaged to where that fatter tip still doesn't work...even though it should be able to hold in place with the wider tip/housing...if it still doesn't work one solution is a $5 solar portable charger can be found on sites such as Walmart.com and Amazon.com also look into if its possible rooting and roming the device which voids the warranty but can/will guarantee longer battery life once the bloatware is gone
I have used needle nosed pliers to pinch the connector in slightly... it should help just dont over do itSent from my SCH-S738C using Tapatalk 2
At the cost of some convenience.... (I'm just thinking out loud)Imagine soldering a short tag wire between an RJ11 and the USB port of your phone. You'd then have to gin up a reverse adapter (RJ-11 female to USB-A Male). Then, the soldered tag wire shouldn't cause a problem, you could use standard USB chargers, and RJ-11's last slightly less than forever. The disadvantage, of course, would be having that tag coming out of your phone, and having to carry the (very small) adapter. Hmmmm
for USB sync you need the port... the red and black are power on USB pinouts and the other 2 are data, one is transmit the other is receive... on a 4 pin connection... USB wiring is standardized.Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I827 using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2

Hopefully they will get one soon that still has dedicated buttons rrather than the Action Bar.Sent from my SCH-S720C using Tapatalk 2
