I have looked up everything and still I have not found any ROMs or recovery for the phone. I have been looking for over 20 days and I looked it up every day. I just don't know what I'm going to have to do about it.

I've been looking everyday myself man. I unfortunately took a risk a few weeks ago I tried installing twrp on my phone thru goo manager. said it installed successfully but I now get that damn unsupported software screen. good thing is I found a way around that and I can get back into my phone with no issues. so I'm half bricked.

yeah I have had a few freeze ups lately. I just keep searching in hopes that I can find a bootloader bypass. I looked into that Loki bypass but unfortunately I'm not that knowledgeable to get it to work. it would be awesome if you could find anything that I'm unable to find myself.

OK I need to make something very clear to anyone and everyone. I can not make a backup of my stock ROM because in order to make a backup you need to be able to get into the devices recovery mode. I am not able to get into my devices recovery because I jumped the gun and tried to install twrp and after doing so,  I now get a screen saying unsupported software has been detected please go to the nearest Verizon store for help. now the main reason I have posted this for the second time is so everyone knows that I no longer have a working recovery.

I have an SCH-I200PP but I haven't rooted it yet.  If I understand what has been said, I should be able to root it with Impactor and then make a ROM backup with ClockworkMod ROM Manager?

Lol i dont recommend it bro... However i was on androidforums.Com and a couple developers rrecommended using a unlocked bootloader for the stellar on the legend to unlock tje bootloader and they said once u do that you'll have no problum flashing the recovery from goo manager they pisted one of the links on that site under all things root and the galaxy stellar phone then just scroll down tp the bottom of page 3 at the bottom of thread.. They said it should work but TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK! Once i get my com back im gonna try it.  If anyone decides to try. It first let me know how its eorking.

I have the sch-i200pp and it is successfully rooted using Cydia Impactor.
Has anyone managed to get a backup made yet? I have also tried to connect
it to Odin and Kies without any luck.

Something I would like to add in to this thread in regards to this device, if you are using the Verizon Update Manager software that comes pre-loaded on your Legend (that installs on your PC), be careful. Last week I plugged my Legend in and the Update Manager did an upgrade on my phone. The upgrade basically locked the bootloader down even tighter and changed the baseband on the device. I had a terrible time getting my phone back up and running. It took me all weekend with Verizon tech support to get things set back correctly so that I could even make a basic phone call. I also lost root on my device when this upgrade was performed. The upgrade is to get the device ready for "Knox Security" which is, from what I am reading, becoming a standard security upgrade to Samsung devices.

Be that as it may, there is still hope, if your phone is upgraded to this bootloader/baseband, it can still be rooted.

Thanks to Saferoot exploit. It was actually designed for the GS4, but I tried it last night and it works well for the Legend.

There's plenty of articles on XDA and other sites about the KNOX security enhancement and what it does.

The Saferoot information can be found on XDA with just a quick search.

    Thanks.

OK I wanted to throw this out there... I just ordered another legend and should have it in about a week. once I get it my current legend will become a mess around device. so I'll be able to try any and all methods to get past the locked boot loader. hopefully we will find a way soon.

I have been trying all kinds of ways and I look and see about it everyday. Just as soon as I find a way to get a custom recovery I'll tell you all about it. Keep your heads up high because we will find a way soon. If someone finds a way please don't forget all of us we need it too. Thanks for all that has been helping!! :)
